Best Article Award
The Children, Adolescents and Media Division of the International Communication Association solicits nominations for its Best Article Award. The Award honors any sole or jointly authored research article published in a peer-reviewed scholarly journal in the previous two years (for this round, published in 2011 or 2012). The article should represent a significant contribution to the field of children, adolescents and the media. Self-nominations are not allowed.
Eligible articles must be:
A full nomination package should comprise:
1) a rationale from the nominator;
2) two additional letters of support for the nomination;
3) a resume of the person (or persons) whose article has been nominated (at least one author must be a member in good standing of both ICA and CAM;
4) a full copy of the article.
Nominations should be sent to CAM Chair Amy Jordan (ajordan@asc.upenn.edu) by 15 February 2013. The award will be presented at the CAM business meeting held during the annual meeting of the International Communication Association.
