Top Student Paper Awards

Top Student Paper Awards are given to outstanding student papers submitted to the Visual Communication Studies Division of ICA for conference presentation.These include cash awards designed to defray the cost of conference travel. Award winners are selected by the Executive Committee of the Visual Communication Studies Division from the highest ranked student papers as scored by blind reviewers. The number of awards given, and therefore the amount of each cash award, may vary from year to year. To be eligible, papers must be authored solely by students; papers co-authored with faculty will not be considered.
