'Voices of Resistance': Communication and Social Justice Communication Graduate Research and Discourse Conference 2013
The Pennsylvania State U, 16 March 2013

For decades, protesters, academics and activists have called for action via media to raise awareness about the various issues that plague the world’s population. The Comm GRAD Forum (CGF) seeks submissions regarding any work on any aspect of media, social justice and activism. This conference hopes to highlight how theory meets practice in scholarship that addresses the relationship between communications and social justice.

Keynote speaker Dr. Robert Jensen from University of Texas, Austin, and hip hop artist/activist Jasiri X and artist/activist Paradise Gray will be joining the conversation.
