Call for Papers

Medium Size Meeting: "Intergroup Conflict: The Cognitive, Emotional, and Behavioral Consequences of Communication"

27-30 June 2013, near Utrecht, The Netherlands

This meeting brings together researchers who study the consequences of communication for intergroup relations. The meeting focuses on interpersonal, intragroup, and intergroup communication. We are also interested in a range of consequences including cognitive, emotional, and behavioral. We invite submissions for oral presentations, but you may also indicate if you would prefer to present a poster or attend without presenting.

The location is a beautifully situated conference hotel in Soesterberg, close to Utrecht, see http://www.kontaktderkontinenten.nl/conferentiehotel. The meeting is sponsored by the Dutch research foundation NWO and EASP. Depending on the number of participants, there may be a small conference fee, but this is expected to be less than 100 euros pp.

Keynote speakers are Karen Douglas (U of Kent), Yoshihisa Kashima (U of Melbourne) and John Dixon (Open U, UK).
