All members of the International Communication Association (ICA) are eligible for membership in the Journalism Studies Interest Group (JSIG).

The JSIG membership fee is currently $ 3 US.

ICA's membership year is Oct. 1 through Sept. 30.

Membership dues are not pro-rated based on date joined

Membership includes subscriptions to three professional journals: Communication Theory, Human Communication Research and Journal of Communication.
