| Dr. E. Graham McKinley teaches writing, graphic design, desktop publishing, and multimedia, serves as advisor to the award-winning student newspaper, and is the former editor of Rider's award-winning faculty union newsletter. Her research interests include female identity and television; she is the author of “Beverly Hills, 90210”: Television, Gender, and Identity. She is also co-author of three textbooks used by Rider students. A professional designer, she has produced posters, fliers and advertisements; a journalist with 20 years of experience, she has served as reporter, critic, and editor and has written for newspapers such as The New York Times and The (Newark) Star-Ledger, and for national magazines such as Musical America. Currently, she is staff writer for PhotoandTravel.com. Also a professional musician, McKinley serves as assistant director of music at the First Presbyterian Church of Matawan. Her musical arrangements appear in print in Collected Songs for Grade and High School, published by Silver Burdett. |
