National Communication Association Golden Anniversary Monograph Award

The Golden Anniversary Monograph Award recognizes the most outstanding scholarly monograph published during the previous calendar year. Monographs or articles may be in any of the areas of the communication arts and sciences.

Nominations must be sent to the selection committee chair by someone well acquainted with the monograph. Third-party and self-nominations are encouraged. The nomination should consist of:

  • A cover letter specifying the publisher or journal name, the publication date, and a detailed rationale for why the article should receive the award
  • A copy of the monograph

Nominations should be sent as a Microsoft Word or PDF e-mail attachment.

If sending by mail, send 6 copies of the nomination material to:
