Org Comm Mini-Conference

The Department of Communication at Purdue University is pleased to host the 2008 Organizational Communication Mini-Conference the weekend of September 27-28, 2008 in West Lafayette, Indiana. In the spirit of mentoring and co-learning, every year, Organizational Communication faculty and graduate students from many different locations gather at one university to provide feedback on our graduate students' research projects, theses, and dissertations. Registration for the conference is free, however, registration is required. Please go to http://www.cla.purdue.edu/ocmc/ to register or to obtain more information.

The conference begins at 10 am on Saturday and will conclude at 1 pm on Sunday to allow attendees time to travel to and from their respective universities.   Hotel rooms are available at the Purdue Memorial Union Hotel. There also are spaces available to Org Com Miniconference graduate attendees and presenters who would want to stay with Purdue graduate students who have volunteered to host a conference attendee. Registration includes several meals and snacks throughout the weekend. If you are interested in presenting a paper at this conference, please contact the faculty at your university, as submissions are limited for each university. If you are unable to present a paper, there are opportunities for you to apply to present a poster at the conference. Details about this poster session will be available on the  website in the next couple of weeks. If you have any questions about this year's mini-conference, please do not hesitate to contact us. We hope to see you September 27-28 at Purdue University!
