Interpersonal Communication - Garrison Top Applied Paper Award Fund

The Garrison Top Applies Paper Fund was established in the early 1980's to honor the work of John Garrison. Professor Garrison was an assistant professor at West Virginia University when he was killed in a traffic accident at age 29. At the time he was perhaps the most prolific young interpersonal scholar, had contributed several times to Human Communication Research and was a big supporter of the Interpersonal Division.
