Association organizations of ICA are scholarly organizations whose goals are consonant with those of ICA. By working together, we promote collaboration and innovation for the advancement of the communication field as a whole.
Association Member Benefits
The membership consists of one primary contact, typically the Executive Director or President. The primary contact has access to ICA's member benefits which include:
- Online access to ICA’s six journals
- Networking opportunities
- Service opportunities in leadership roles
- Voting privileges
- Discounted conference registration
- Exclusive member discounts
Association Members are also invited to host one panel session during the ICA conference.
*Please note, only the primary contact on an Association Membership receives full member benefits. The primary contact is provided a promotion code to distribute at their discretion, which reduces the annual conference registration fee for non(ICA)-members (typically used for their panelists) to the member discounted rate. These are generally limited to 5 uses, however more may be considered at the discretion of ICA. Those granted the code are not active members of ICA; they do not have access to ICA member benefits with the exception of receiving the Tier A Regular Member discount for the annual ICA conference registration fee.
If you are interested in becoming an Association Member of ICA, please refer to the application process on our group membership page.
